Confirmed from Great Guernsey Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

We love this bike/walking trail! We always see a lot of wildlife turtles, rabbits, groundhogs, chipmunks and an occasional turkey. If you walk back to the Coal Ridge pond there is a pretty good chance of spotting beaver, frogs and fish. The trail is maintained really well.

We ride this fairly regularly and it is a very pleasant and well maintained trail. ... Did an Afternoon Christmas Eve ride today. All the way to Lore City and back. Trail is nice and clean with lots of seating stops and points of interest. There is a nice park in Lore City with a ballfield, playground and pavilion.

Very well maintained walking and biking trail. Lots of wildlife along the trail, and it's now 7 miles long. I walk out here every week and usually see friendly faces.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
