We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Green River Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Green River Trailhead
I am doing salmon habitat restoration at this site for my job and I liked the site for being in city of Kent it is well maintained and a nice trail
This a fairly secure spot to start the Green River to Inter-Urban loop. There seems to be a good morning flow of walkers, dog walkers and bikers.
Green River Trail is beautiful walk. Tricky finding it. Turn left just past fitness center.
Not a lot of people on the trail when I went it's a wide open space lots of room for bikes to go both ways and people at the same time
Trail conditions & character
“It's definitely dog friendly I guess you can have a picnic there if you brought your own stuff including the table and chairs unless they have that stuff further in.”

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
