We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lake Fenwick Pedestrian Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lake Fenwick Pedestrian Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (13 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Quiet, peaceful, and a fairly easy trail with varieties of experiences.”

The road to get there is confusing however, it was worth the drive. It will have its own entrance, do not enter the golf course or the little park. Quiet, peaceful, and a fairly easy trail with varieties of experiences. Once you are in the parking lot, the left is the hiking trail (about 1.5 mile one way).

This is an excellent city park with several access points. There are several trails meandering through wooded areas and along the lake. There is a very cool floating path separating the marshy pond from the lake. There is also a large staircase that ascends a steep ravine.

★★★★★ — Zach , Nov 2021

Nice park, definitely a busier one since fishing is popular here. I hear bass are most common, although most are small. Trails lead along the lake shore and the park has a boat launch. Parking is available, great place for picnic, or to walk the pets.

Peaceful walk through a wooded like are in practically down town Kent. Some areas look a little ransacked but overall seems ok.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
