Confirmed from Green Shell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Informal place featuring a cemetery, a playground for kids and trails.
What runners say about Green Shell Park
“Gorgeous park - I was not expecting the nature walk so it was a pleasant surprise.”
This walk was wild. First, you need to walk through a Gullah cemetery. Then over a bridge. Then follow these tiny laminated paper signs that say “trail” stapled to random trees. The sights are gorgeous, but hard to follow.
There is an interesting Gulla cemetery just as you walk through the gate of the park. Although you can see the mound which rings the park, you'll have to go to the lookout platform to see any oyster shells.

Very intriguing place but you need a guide to make sense of it. Ours was excellent . Little bit of walking but walker was adequate.
