Confirmed from Greenbelt Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful riverside greenspace popular for walking, biking, picnics & sunset views.
What runners say about Greenbelt Park
“Lots of mobility options including Scooters and E-bikes great views and a completely paved walk way leading into another park to the north.”
“Beautiful walk ways , the river is sooo serene , good stretch to walk run and be with nature”
Absolutely gorgeous park along the riverfront. Love going here during the day but also at sunset. There's a wonderful path to walk along the park that's a great way to get your steps in for the day. They even offer benches close to the bluff that allow you to watch the river.
This is an absolutely gorgeous river walk/ park area. It’s a great feeling to be at the banks the mighty Mississippi River. Sunset views are gorgeous. They have paved and I paved trails for walking, and running. In morning and evening you will see tons of people here jogging or waking.
I moved to the area last summer and have continued to enjoy the people and views along the parkway. A scenic way to get in a short walk or 5 miles if you so choose.
Excellent way to walk off a huge lunch. Mile markers along the way. Bet it's 10 times better with the grass mowed. Lots of mobility options including Scooters and E-bikes great views and a completely paved walk way leading into another park to the north.
