Confirmed from Mississippi River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Relaxed riverfront park with serene sunset views, play areas, fire pits & picnic tables.

This is excellent walk and break area if you are traveling and need a break. Amazing area to relax, take informa and do small walk. Information center is huge and very welcoming. Nice and overall great stop.

It seems like the theme of this park is sustainability and accessibility. The playground is made of mostly wood and rope. It has a ramp up to accommodate wheelchair users or people with mobility restraints. It is large and sturdy enough for even adults to play on.

This park has a great view of the city. A boat ramp for the river, it’s great for pictures and walking. The bathroom was locked. It’s a little far from the parking area to the Memphis sign so maybe don’t drink too much water if you plan on a visit. It’s definitely a great place to visit.

This is a very unique place! My kids loved walking around the model of the Mississippi river. It's huge! I hope they clean up the buildings and area and put water in it soon. It's probably because of quarantine, but I hope Memphis doesn't let this awesome place deteriorate.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 9 mentions

“Wonderful view of the river Mississippi and downtown on the other side.”
