Confirmed from Griffith Station Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Fun-filled park for children of all ages, with play areas, slides, swings and baseball, horseshoe and basketball pitches.

What runners say about Griffith Station Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (224 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“The park was clean, parking was only on the street and at least in November, no porta potty which was sad as we had to leave early because of it.”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“No shade on the actual playground but has a couple of covered tables to get out of the sun.”

A remarkable and almost magical, little park. The place is set up to look like a train station and the magical part is, kids jump right into it. Looks like it's great for morning and evening walks too. Can't wait until the trees develop!

Lovely, new-ish park. Super clean. Love the variety of playthings and the unique train motif. I was super excited to hear what a new piano station is supposed to sound like, but this one seems to be missing the bells that play the notes. Just an unattractive KLUNK with each key.

There is a dog park exercise equipment to work out on through out the park a small baseball field and basketball court. Playground is small and not a lot for kids to play on and not very clean. There are a ew picnic benches. This a nice park for day walks. The lighting at night isn't very good!

This is a great little park for the kiddos, it's clean, it's big there are plenty of little things for kids ages2-10 would definitely enjoy, there is a little trail to ride a bike and a horseshoe pit we enjoyed it!!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
