Confirmed from Anderson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park contains a seasonal public pool, baseball & soccer fields & also hosts municipal events.
What runners say about Anderson Park
“I am not sure just how long the trail spans, but I have biked from Golden to Westminster so it is quite long and, for the most part, well-maintained and pretty.”
“A beautiful park with a circus and 50 years of a carnation celebration with live bands, fireworks very family friendly ONGOING NOW,FIREWORKS TONIGHT!”
“The trail right by Anderson Park in particular is very peaceful and full of vegetation.”
Love it! The new playground is super clean and fun with tons to do. Interactive wild animal sounds thingy is pretty neat. Love those swings and slides. Green space all around looks wonderfully maintained. Great access from the bike trail. Don’t miss out on the zip lines across the way!
This is my neighborhood park and it has a special place in my heart. There is a basketball court, a rec center with outdoor pool, baseball field, grass area for soccer or other activities, 2 playgrounds, a covered area with grills, a trail along Clear Creek, and also a makerspace.
As others have noted, it is currently under construction, but the path along Clear Creek is open and beautiful. This will be a great park once it's fully open. I did run into a small gang of 8 year olds though which gave me some lip, but after a couple sick karate moves they scampered off to their mothers.
Great park to take the dog on a walk or have a picnic. Lots of green space for birthday parties and small events. Also connected to a large trail which is great for runners/bikers.
