We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Grimes Path yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Grimes Path
Quiet little walk along a beautiful path. Right behind neighborhood. Saw an otter on the mulch. Heard birds chirping the entire walk.
A lengthy path that goes through north Nampa. Lots of birds, flowers, blossoms, and trees. It's full length is a few miles longer then most trails I've seen in the area.
No real parking (other than street parking) at any point on the path including both ends. Other than that, it is an excellent walking path.
I walk this several times a year. I live north of Cherry and wish there was a connecting path from my neighborhood to this path. The path follows a creek in some places and its cool to see the ducks and if you look hard enough you can get lucky and spot some wood ducks.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
