Confirmed from South Fork Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about South Fork Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (117 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions
🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“It was peaceful and quiet until the cops showed up cross the Way they pull out some dude out of car window”

This is a good sized park at approx 25 acres of open grass area for people to set up games to play here. They have a decent amount of playground equipment here for the kids to play on, I noticed they have paved walking trails for those that want to get their cardio.

Be careful of the goat heads near curb facing church if you are walking pets. Friendly playground equipment, water fountain but no restrooms...loads of free running room for games, picnics and other activities

★★★★☆ — Brenda , Oct 2018

Nice park to relax or walk your dog. Great for families and a nice playground for the kids. Adult men go there to play football. So all around nice park.

★★★★★ — Sylvia , Jun 2018

Nice park for dog walking plus has kids play area. Parking next to it at the church there.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 6 mentions

“No restrooms and parking either off street or at the church near by.”
