Confirmed from Wilson Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Wilson Creek Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (253 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Wilson Creek park is a beautiful nature park with a creek and a nice bike and walking trail and snimala in wild with much nature relaxation to view.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Great place to chill, plenty of shade and space.”

This is a great little park that directly connects to the greenbelt. I don't know how busy it normally is, but we had it all to ourselves because of the rain. Puppies got to run around without bothering anyone. We did leash them when we got near the ducks.

This is such a little gem in Nampa. There are so many cute ducks and the docks are nice to relax on. It has a great pathway to ride bikes or walk.

★★★★★ — Beth , Dec 2025

This is an older park that more about walking then anything. There is only a small playground for a few kids. There is a stream that runs through this park with some nice houses on the other side of the creek. There is an older part with some old trees that have fallen over and there are some benches to take a rest.

★★★★☆ — Timothy , Jul 2025

Cute little park connecting to the greenbelt. Wish they'd pave the little path from the street to the bridge though. Hard for Dad to push his walker through that part. Nice place to walk and enjoy the ducks. Could use a couple more benches along the path and a picnic table and restrooms in the park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
