Very scenic nature trail, Amazing for fall time and trails are very well marked to avoid getting lost. Great for Dog walking and Nature Photos. Nice little hiking trail in Lockport, but not really a picnic area.
This parking area isn’t as big or nice as the satellite images show. The trailhead is actually down the road a little ways. Be careful entering the trail it is pretty steep and slick. I found the three trails I took to be slick so be careful with your footing.
Nice hike. Park at the railroad lot off of Niagara st. Walk down the road about 20 yards to enter the trails.
As of 10/14/24, all the fallen trees have been removed from the trails. There's a new path forming on the Niagara Street embankment above the creek that connects blue to yellow and makes it so you don't have to tip toe across the creek. See photos.
