Confirmed from Gulley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Simple recreational park offering a children's playground, stream & a gazebo with live music.
What runners say about Gulley Park
“Very nice park clean fun playground, safe decorative farm animals and old stagecoach”
“Thank you Gulley Park Rec and crew for your hard work on this beautiful park !”
Gulley Park is a great family place with plenty of walking, biking, and skateboarding trails leading to a cool playground with lots of stuff to hang out on... cows, a pirate ship, swings for babies, kids and adults, and a merry go round. Great parking and the bathrooms are clean and mostly in order.
Super nice park in Fayetteville. This side has a newer large playground, water play area, gazebo, and lots of benches and open grass areas. It is well maintained with walking paths and hammocks. The other side of the park is where they host 5ks, festivals, and concerts often.
Wonderful city park with brand new playground and splash pad (as of June, 2024). Walking trails, picnic area, lots of shady spots for grass picnics and it’s right on the bike trail. During the summer there’s the free concert series!
I highly recommend gulley Park they are the best and they recently updated!! They add a splash pad I turned it on this morning and ALLL of the kids came running !! Such a blessing to see my son grow up in the park I grew up in just a different park !!!

“It doesn’t have a lot of things but it has great walking paths and large grassy areas, a creek, a playground, bathrooms.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
