Confirmed from GYSGT Thomas J. Sullivan Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about GYSGT Thomas J. Sullivan Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (32 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Beautiful little park by the water with a small pavillion, some benches, and a ramp to launch kayaks”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“A quiet spot to stop and sit for a lunch or to enjoy a book.”

Nice little rest area for walking to. Watershops pond is still low so it's swampy at the shores, can smell swampy sometimes too

★★★★☆ — Derek , Mar 2024

Small park, but it was a great place to explore with a 2 year old. Near the parking lot there's a nice pavilion with two octagonal picnic tables. There's also a few benches, and trails that go off to the left and right. The left one goes down to a little boat launch area by the water.

★★★★☆ — Matt , Oct 2020

A favorite place. Quiet, serene setting amd it's kept immaculate. There's a boat ramp and a short trail. Lots of wildlife and benches to sit to take in the surroundings.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
