Confirmed from Hagemann Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (140 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“It's close to home and is pretty clean.”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“There are two structures one for smaller kids one for bigger kids and the area does offer some shade which is nice.”

Great park for dogs and kids or have lunch! I’ve done photo shoots here, had picnics, and love taking the dogs to run around. It has a great atmosphere. In the summer, it’s blossoming with ladybugs!

★★★★★ — Makayla , Apr 2021

Lovely little park. Could use more shade so come when it's not hot. Also no bathroom.

★★★★☆ — Carol , Aug 2019

This park has it all, except a dog park, but, there are six in livermore already. There is a nice playground for climbing, a huge grassy field(s) area for soccar and other sports. Lots of trees around the field to sit under or climb.

★★★★★ — Kiera , Oct 2014

There are two structures one for smaller kids one for bigger kids and the area does offer some shade which is nice. This park tends to be less crowded. There is a porta potty. There is a barbecue and multiple tables and benches. People let their dogs run around on the grassy areas.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 13 mentions

“It would be even nicer if the dog owners would keep their dogs leashed as the signage asks them to do.”
