Confirmed from Haggerty West Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Long green belt with a 20-mile sidewalk and picturesque lakes, good for running and biking.

Part of the Wayne County Parks. Was Cruising thru Hines when a Family of Canadian Geese walk across street. We were at a stop when 2 🚲 were coming the lady did not want to stop. The Geese Yelled at lady until she stop. And Yes she did..😂 A Beaver stood up to watch us go by..Trying to cross street.
It's a beautiful relaxing park. Nice bike and walking trail so be ready to get a nice work out on the up and down hills. 😉 One of the hills took me out. My 1st fall in 3yrs 😆
Lived in many different cities. From Redford to Westland any a couple in between. Always near the bike trails and many picnic areas. It's the best.
Everyone is dedicated to walking running or biking. There are no slackers except for me it was very slow but I try.
