Confirmed from Haltom Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious neighborhood park offering a playground, picnic areas and barbecues.
What runners say about Haltom Road Park
“It is clean, plenty of space to play and if your feeling adventurous you can go check out the little creek that runs along it.”
“Parking space available near shade, near the playground and picnic area as well the monument.”
"A GREAT PLACE TO ENJOY ! ! " I was in this Park for the first time on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. It was a beautiful, cool, and sunny morning. It was an eye opener as to how well groomed and inviting the appeal of this smaller Park was to me. The walking trail is 0.
Enjoyed the peacefulness of sitting at the veterans memorial. There is a nice paved walking circle through the park with benches nearby, a water fountain for you & your dog (convenient doggie bags available), nice children's play areas, a pavillion with tables for a party in the park and, clean public bathrooms.
This is a nice park to take a stroll anytime of day. There are a lot of trees and places to take a rest. I wish that they would enforce the curb your dog rule like they were when I first started walking the trails. Overall, I enjoy the scenery and reading the memorials along the way.
Love bringing the kids here to play on the new equipment. It is clean, plenty of space to play and if your feeling adventurous you can go check out the little creek that runs along it.
