Confirmed from Birdville Trails Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Bike path with picnics area and storm shelter along Fossil Creek. Also, restrooms . Update as of 2018, jog and bike trail "goes under" Airport Freeway and Route 121 to the SE side at Carson Rd. Also new charter school just opened August 2019 . Update, 9/1/2019 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ .

Wonderful park, great path to walk on. Very well kept and clean clean clean.

★★★★★ — Christopher , Oct 2022

A small, out of the way park with a nice trail along a creek and playground. There is a drill pad right next to it but there is no running equipment so it's usually a quiet, pleasant place.

★★★★★ — Todd , Jun 2017

This park has a tiny playground, but it has nice trails and good access to a stream that kids can throw rocks into.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
