Confirmed from Hamlet Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large recreational area featuring ball fields, a skate park and a playground.
What runners say about Hamlet Park
We went for a friend’s Graduation party and will definitely be back for more family fun. The park has an enclosed shelter with kitchen that was great for the food, display, and picture area. There is adjoins outdoor seating for eating.
We had the NFSI fun run here on Sunday 5/18/25. The space was perfect for the event and the weather was ideal. My daughter enjoyed playing on the playground after the run as vendors were starting to clean up.
I grew up here and it has changed over the years with more baseball fields, skatepark know, still football and soccer field. The park has been replaced with plastic instead of metal when I was small back in the 1980s and 1990s too.
Not bad for a local park with a walking trail, decent scenery, pavilion, baseball field, skatepark, playground, basketball court, tennis court, football/soccer field, and large parking lot. It has everything you need but to some this park is notorious for recreational marijuana, fights, and just being a little janky.
Trail conditions & character
“Lots of parking, a hockey rink and playground, Hamlet offers something fun for every member of the family!”
