Confirmed from Haney Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring trails and picnic tables, plus a fenced-in dog area.
What runners say about Haney Creek Park
“Scenic getaway to meet other dog friends or explore a path less traveled”
Large space with a big and small dog park with picnic tables and some shade. Not a ton of parking, but we had no trouble finding a spot. The trail is mostly gravel/dirt, but easy to walk. Beautiful around sunset - not too hot or crowded. Everyone we passed on the trail was really friendly.
I took my dog to the Haney Creek Dog Park AND HE LOVES IT, There is a nice relaxing peaceful walk to the dog park, and the directions can be a bit hidden because at the time of this review it is marked as a temporary fire station ,but besides that once you get into the park it is easy because there are little dog…
It has nice trails but they are not the most detailed in directions. If you use your maps program on your phone, it makes it easier for reference to know your way around. There is a small dog park within this park.
A pleasant walk through different types of terrain from grass, sand to hilly areas and flat areas. Enjoyed seeing the different trees and plants. Who knew reindeer moss looks like land cora.l Not many people took advantage of the appoximately 1 mile walk today. More people were at the dog park.
Trail conditions & character
“Has a dog run which is good but why do people have their dogs off leash outside the fenced area.”
“Not a ton of parking, but we had no trouble finding a spot.”
