This is one of those hidden gems in our community. A beautiful quiet park along the river. There is no playground equipment and it is far away from any real neighborhood so there are no kids running and screaming. (Not that kids are bad at all. Sometimes you just need some place quiet.
Mosquitoes win...for now...still had fun! Bird listening is WOW. Many frogs. Horse trail. Is the water pump missing a piece? I hope to return..
It has nice trails, good riverfront for fishing in the Rock River, a boat landing and dock. Note the river is low right now so a little challenging to launch. It also has a picnic area, but no playground equipment.
This is a pretty little Park by the river. It is a quiet spot with hiking trails and a boat launch.
