This is one of my favorite places in Pennsylvania. The hike is easy and meanders through beautiful stands of old hemlock trees. It follows beside a beautiful mountain stream. The dark, cool hemlock trail is a perfect hike on a hot summer day.
Well staying in the area I was looking for a nice walk and this certainly qualifies. Started early in the morning and enjoyed every moment of the walk. The trail was well marked and being next to the creek made it extra enjoyable. About 1.5 mile all told. Not very strenuous and a great way to start the day.

Nice hike through a small section of old growth hemlock forest. Truly amazing to look at trees that were here before we were a country. The trail was a mile and a half loop. Two short sections at each end were traversed twice. There were hills and roots the length of the trail.
