Confirmed from Henderson Pond Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Henderson Pond Trail Head

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (21 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This is a decent trail for this area, a lot of work has been put into it, bridges, clearing of debris etc. The trail itself is a pretty cool way of getting back into nature, there are a couple of streams along the way/ it also traverses the Henderson pond and you may see some wildlife like squirrels/ deer/ snakes.

Don't have much to compare this trail to, but guessing it is a good trail. It's about a 7 mile loop, with some hills, some drops and technical stuff I am not good at. But take that with a grain of salt from a guy that's been out on an MTB trail 3 times in 5 years.

I enjoyed it!! I haven't ridden in a while! Like 12 years, so I heard it was a pretty simple trail head nothing crazy. I still decided to take the kid loop, to begin with. The trail isn't exactly marked all that great somewhere I took a wrong turn and wound up on the full circuit.

Not really a walking trail. Didnt realize it was a biking trail until we pulled up. Great trail though as we walked it anyways.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“But all in all, a great escape from the office to get away from hustle and bustle My biggest gripe is all the tree roots on the trail.”
