Confirmed from Henry's Ridge Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hundreds of acres of forestland with over 10 miles of trails for hiking, jogging & mountain biking.
What runners say about Henry's Ridge Natural Area
“Absolutely beautiful place for walking, low grade hiking, biking and stunning photos all right behind your home!”
All the trails in this area have fairy tale names :) there are edible berries everywhere! The trails can be up hill, downhill, steep and even flat. You can even find fields filled with wild flowers. Also if you can, go and check out the pond.
This is an excellent place to hike, bike, run, and explore. It connects seemlessly with Black Diamond Open Space, Summit Ridge, and Cedar River Trail. This natural area includes conifers, deciduous trees, welands, ponds, streams and some open view points.
We loved visiting with our kids!! Beginner trails but I do recommend having your GPS handy if you're going to the Gnome Trail. Some trails get a tad narrow and there is some identifiable poison ivy around so dont let your kids venture off the path. Will definitely visit again.
Spent a few hours exploring the trails on a mountain bike. Nice trail system of many short trails that you can mix and match. Generally cross country style trails with typical PNW roots and rocks. Designed for biking but several families were out enjoying the trails on foot.
