Confirmed from Henry's Ridge Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Gnome-themed open space boasting miles of winding trails for walking and mountain biking.
What runners say about Henry's Ridge Open Space
“Fairly easy trails, some gravel, some dirt.”
Simply beautiful! Just a lovely location right by home. A huge area that makes you feel like you're miles away. Fairly easy trails, some gravel, some dirt. There are some wide open spaces and other areas are deep within the beautiful trees, lots of color, little ponds, a few picnic tables, wildlife etc.
Cool network of trails but no more gnomes. Kiddos were disappointed with that but still enjoyed the hiking and exploring
This is an excellent open space with numerous trails meandering through forested areas and along lakes. There is easy access to neighborhing Black Diamond Open Space. There is limited parking, only along neighborhood streets. There are no facilities. There is a map of the area but limited trail signage.
Great hiking trails. We went out to the gnome trail. Great hike for kids, gnome hunting kept them entertained. Took our two 4 year olds and two 7 year olds. They really enjoyed it!
Trail conditions & character

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
