Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with picnic tables around the grounds, plus a playground, fishing ponds and wildlife.
What runners say about Heritage Park
“It is well maintained and there is a boat launch, play ground and two museums.”
“Beautiful scenery public restrooms, a park, picnic table's with barbecue pits accessible.”
“A quiet park with paths to walk and a waterway to fish or canoe and kayak.”
This should be called turtle park. Lots of turtles sun bathing and swimming. Cute short walking trail and kayak launch ramp. Lots of picnic benches and a large parking lot. Very cool old buildings that are well kept.
This is the best spot to spend the day with the family and it's dog friendly too. Beautiful scenery public restrooms, a park, picnic table's with barbecue pits accessible. Clear Creek runs right through the park which allows you to feed the ducks and turtles and even make a day of fishing.
Very nice park, 4 stars because the maintenance hasn't come out in a while. There were lots of big spider webs, but after knocking them down our two year old had a blast! There's a lake to the left and we saw many people enjoying a running trail on the right. Nice and quiet, and it's fenced off away from the street.
This is a great park to stop at for a picnic, and there are even handicap accessibile park benches. There is a ramp and dock that you can launch your kayaks from to take the paddle trail, and there are ample Pokemon Go stops here for the kids. There 8s also a nice fishing pond here.
