Confirmed from Heritage Pond / Heritage Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful bike trail north west is a 25 mile pack gravel. In this direction it is a old railroad track converted over to a bike path. Beautiful scenery there are very few bathrooms in this directions. Make sure you bring plenty of water with you.

★★★★★ — Robert , Jun 2026

The trail is mostly flat and an easy ride. The limestone base is dirty and covers your body and the bike. A good trail to ride and would do it again. Bring plenty of water, you will need it.

★★★★☆ — Douglas , Sep 2020

Decent pond to fish if you like stocked ponds It does get fished out fast. There is plenty of parking and it is a good starting point for the Heritage Trail.

★★★★★ — Abhay , Jun 2026

Great place to fish at and enjoy the view. Has restrooms and picnic table with charge ports. Also the trail is nice to do some biking or walking

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
