Confirmed from Heritage Pond / Heritage Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic preserve featuring a pond for fishing plus trails for biking and hiking, as well as picnic tables and camping facilities.
What runners say about Heritage Pond / Heritage Trail
“The surface is crushed limestone and it was well maintained.”
“Amazing trails any time of the year with beautiful sights along the way!”
“I have seen all ages in there.”
Beautiful bike trail north west is a 25 mile pack gravel. In this direction it is a old railroad track converted over to a bike path. Beautiful scenery there are very few bathrooms in this directions. Make sure you bring plenty of water with you.
The trail is mostly flat and an easy ride. The limestone base is dirty and covers your body and the bike. A good trail to ride and would do it again. Bring plenty of water, you will need it.
Decent pond to fish if you like stocked ponds It does get fished out fast. There is plenty of parking and it is a good starting point for the Heritage Trail.
Great place to fish at and enjoy the view. Has restrooms and picnic table with charge ports. Also the trail is nice to do some biking or walking
