Confirmed from Heritage Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This trail is beautiful and well taken care of. The trail is all paved. I felt safe on this trail.

This was a beautiful ride, for two people who were just looking for some casual cycling. Paved, marked every quarter-mile, quiet except for the occasional walker and other cyclist. You do cross a couple of roads, but we didn't have trouble with traffic, and the crosswalks are clearly marked.

Nice place for a walk with the dog. This trail is rather popular and can get busy at times. It’s a pretty straight path but it does kind of meander through woods and old farm lands along a former rail line. There’s poop bags available plus benches and mile markers. Seems pretty well maintained overall.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
