One of my favorite parks. Love how I can walk here whenever I want. I have been coming here for the last 20ish years and I still enjoy it. The view is awesome and I love how you can sit on the rocks by the water. There is also a lot of trees and a foresty vibe in some parts of the park.

Great park on a peninsula jutting into the Sound with close views of LaGuardia airport. It is a site of the former Chisholm mansion and estate, acquired by NYC in 1930 to become a public park. Street parking only, but it wasn’t an issue on summer weekend morning (park is popular, so better to come early).
Beautiful park surrounded by the ocean and close up views of the Whitestone bridge and LGA. 1 full court for basketball, 1 water fountain and 1 playground. Not as big as Alley Pond and Kissena but the surrounding ocean makes up for it. 1 baseball field.
