This is a beautiful Undeveloped Park with lovely walking trails .... most of it is sand and gravel with large rocks for sitting and resting .... located at the waterfront you get a wonderful feeling of nature as you walk under the tree canopy
Queens hidden spot. Paths wind through actual woods, not just paved walks. Two overlooks with views of the Whitestone Bridge and wetlands. Trails got fresh gravel recently, easier walking now. Smells like cedar when you walk in. Quiet, feels farther from the city than it is. Good for a stroll or just sitting.
Beautiful park, wonderful bridge view, lots of off shoots to walk and see. The one downside is probably the garbage, and the smell during low tide. 4/5 would bring my friends Edit: lots of side paths I've never noticed & be careful if you have allergies
