Confirmed from Pugsley Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
84-acre city park featuring wetlands & marshes, kayak/canoe launch sites & a baseball field.
What runners say about Pugsley Creek Park
“Beautiful sightseeing area as Laguardia airport, ferry, throggs and whitestone bridge are in view.”
“Park is a quiet and well lit.”
Great little park with bike lanes, walking paths and places to sit. There is a basketball court and outdoor gym. Too many feral cats ! They disrupt the wildlife here . Bird lovers can see many shore birds and song birds. You will love to take a walk and see some wildlife right in the Bronx !
Beautiful park with an excellent bike trail. A great opportunity to escape from the concrete jungle of the city.
Really peaceful park. There are places (benches, rocks, etc.) to sit at along the creek and enjoy nature and scenery. There's a great view of the whitestone bridge on the castle hill side of the park. If you're lucky you'll see a swan or two in the creek.
This is where they started up the ferry to Manhattan. We took a walk to see the new ferry stop and it's absolutely beautiful the sights. They have the schedule up for you to see and check which time would fit your schedule.
