Confirmed from Heron View Park - Round Lake Area Park District's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Really like this place the only thing I can actually say about it that I wish was enhanced was the walking path. Mostly due to the fact that when you're walking you encounter a lot of people walking their animals, instead of there being a designated trail..

★★★★☆ — Lisa , Mar 2022

Great park in a safe neighborhood. Perfect for dogs to run or bring a group of friends for football. Challenging obstacles, long or quick slides. Also, the park has a small bench for parents to watch the children or grab a quick book from the mini library. Ages range from 1-10, I have seen teenagers enjoy the park.
