Confirmed from Hickman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground featuring a swing set for kids and grassy field for soccer, baseball.
What runners say about Hickman Park
“Top it off with super-clean single and family port-o-potties, you have yourself one awesome little park!”
“It also boasts a large and beautiful tree, when in the summer, you can lay in its shade, or climb its branches.”
Nice newer park with lots of climbing structures for smaller and bigger kids. Paved path loops around good for bikes or scooters. Has basketball courts, large lawn area and a small labyrinth. Larger parking lot, two portable bathrooms, and covered picnic area.
This is a great little park with trails, playground, open field, and some beautiful plants/flowers! You might find a painted rock while walking the trails. I left the ones in my pics, and hope a kid finds them instead. They were painted beautifully though!
One of the nicest, cleanest, quietest parks around. Down the street from my home in Richmond Beach, this park has an open field for soccer, baseball, running or whatever. It also boasts a large and beautiful tree, when in the summer, you can lay in its shade, or climb its branches.
This park used to be home to a school. The best feature is the cherry tree that people can climb into. It's amazing in the sping. The park has a nice covered picnic area with a large grill, electrical and running water for rent and a portapotty. One thing that would make this park better is a real bathroom.

“Clean, well-maintained, and kinda Dog-friendly on the paths only, cant take them onto the grass.”
“Paved path loops around good for bikes or scooters.”
“Walk the loop around the park (ADA friendly).”
“Also would love if the water fountains had a feature so my dog could get a drink of water.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
