Confirmed from Hickory Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a stream and picnic areas, plus fishing and a dog park.
What runners say about Hickory Valley Park
“Very beautiful And extremely peaceful Did some fishing while I was there”
“I have to go early as my fog is not so friendly but we enjoy the quiet it's like our own private retreat.”
A very small city park in Stroudsburg, PA. Runs along McMichael's Creek and has a single (relatively flat and smooth) trail through it which runs along the perimeter of the Glenbrook Golf Course. Overall a very nice place, especially if you're short on time and just want a pleasant stroll.
Really small "park". Just some picknic table next to the creek. No place to walk dogs but there is a field to play some games.
Beautiful place...... We took a quick trip just to let the pups run around with the kids in the creek and the open field... We will definitely go back for a longer visit.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
