Confirmed from Hickory Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hickory Woods Park
“Beautiful I got to lots of deer this Time I brought Aaron my daughter boyfriend and my daughter Amanda went on the paths.”
“This place is so quiet, full of wildlife.”
What a hidden gem that we didn't know about !! We got to see a few deer out while we were walking the trail !!
New park in the area. No paved trails or parking lot but trails are in decent shape. Quiet and peaceful walk.
This park is magical. The biodiversity is incredible and the park has something for everyone, even fishing! The trail is just under two miles, generally flat, and great for kids, dogs, and casual hiking. If you are looking for a quick break from the buzz of the world, this is the place for you.
Wow they did a great job with this park and the trail was awesome. Some prairie some woods. Plenty of parking and a big porta potty in the parking lot. They have handicap parking but to me the trail doesn’t seem accessible to a regular wheelchair. Easy to find and I totally recommend.
