Confirmed from Blue Limestone Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood recreation area with a playground, walking trails & a fishing hole in a former quarry.
What runners say about Blue Limestone Park
“It's clean, monitored and well-maintained with a playground and restrooms.”
“Very nice park featuring multiple play areas, a tennis court, 2 basketball courts, swings, walking paths and a beautiful pond with wildlife.”
“I really enjoyed checking out the native plants and finding a quiet, beautiful spot to calm the mind.”
This park is a nestled gem of Delaware. The park wasn't too crowded to lose track of the kiddos. And the bathrooms were actually decent. There is a small and large playground to accommodate most ages. Watching the wildlife from the boardwalk was definitely a treat.

Love this place! My wife and I meet friends here with our kids and let them run around while we enjoy the pickleball courts. Casting pond is awesome to teach the kids to fish and to take the rc boat out. Great little park for a fun afternoon!
This is a nice little gem of a park hidden near downtown Delaware. It includes a playground for the children as well as picnic tables and shelter houses. One can fish in the former quarry if one is so inclined and licensed. Flush restrooms are onsite with soap and running water.
