Confirmed from Hickory Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hickory Woods Park
“The bathroom is always clean and the small pavilion gives a good amount of shade.”
“Someone told me this was an old golf course that went bankrupt and they turned it into this GORGEOUS park!”

Open dawn to dusk. Nice paved walking trail both wooded and field. Nice play ground. Bike, stroller, and wheel chair accessible. Bathroom (with running water) and drinking fountain available seasonally.
Excellent area for its young children's playground, adult walking and cycling paths . It's paths are well laid out; it has a lovely woodland area, but also a large area of prairie grasses with paths mown through them.
Nice but small park. Total of about a mile of trails with varied terrain and surfaces. Nice playground. Check out the wildflowers!
This park is a hidden gem. The playground is small but has a climbing structure and swings. There are bathrooms and drinking fountains. There is a walking path around the whole park with a few trails through the woods. In the summer a mowed path is available to walk through wildflowers. It is beautiful.
