Confirmed from Hidden Hogback Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational area offering opportunities for hiking and golf, plus scenic views.
What runners say about Hidden Hogback Trail
“Extremely peaceful and beautiful views during sunset, but sunrise is just as majestic with far less mosquitos!”
Lots of vivid greenery throughout this walking trail that follows the nearby river for awhile before branching off into the adjacent field and beyond. Running, biking, etcetera is also perfect for this type of trail.
Hidden trail along the river and up over the golf course. Great view at top.
Very scenic and varied trail! Short in length so an easy go to if you're pinched for time but still want solitude and views! 360 view at the top of the ridge if you connect to the Mariana butte trail which I highly recommend. No tree cover so highly suggest early or later trail time.
"Hidden" trail that originates near the Oxbow Bend trail in West Loveland. Climbs the hogback and crosses Marianna Butte golf course to terminate at the top of the Butte. Impressive views of the Rockies to the west and the plains to the east.

“My dog and I can't wait to visit again, but in the meantime the long dive out there to no avail is frustrating to both on of us!”

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
