Confirmed from High Ridge Loop Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring hiking trails of varying difficulty levels through picturesque scenery.

High Ridge Loop Trail is a beautiful hiking spot, perfect for those who prefer less crowded trails. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly, so if you don’t find a spot, roadside parking is an option. Using the AllTrails app makes navigating the trail easy.
Explore this stunning trails. I hiked 6 miles round trip with a 1500ft elevation gain. The scenery is lush and vibrant this season (May) , providing a refreshing escape. Compared to Mission Peak, it's blissfully serene with minimal crowds. Perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility amidst breathtaking greenery.
Nice scenic trail. Good trail for beginners. I used the alltrails app to navigate this trail since there are many branches on this trail, a few cows too. Some incline but worth the views.
We went here for Memorial Day weekend, beautiful trail with not much rush. Moderate 5.3mile hike with ups and downs. Have great views of the bay and Hayward sprawling cemetery. Not too much shade along the way. Would be perfect for a moderate cool day hike.
