This is a terrific trail! It begins with a nice, gravel trail, then transitions to larger rocks mixed with gravel. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being most difficult, I'd rate this a 3 or 4, but with one caveat - the High Tor scenic overlook spot is more like an 8 or 9.
This os a great hike because you can do it in less than an hour . Its quick in and out. Parking is limited so best to get there early if exploring on a weekend. Go up central ave like your heading to New City from 202. We locals call it the mountain road.
A nice small park with a great pool area for adults and a small one for young children. The park also has a modest picnic area. No food available, however vending machines are available (although a bit tempermental). THERE IS NO HIKING PATH IN THIS PARK.
Nice park with great views. My husband and I had a lovely time hiking around this state park.
