Confirmed from Hikshari' Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“No matter the time of year, it is always a beautiful blast of nature to take this consistent stroll.”

I really enjoy this trail. The pavement is great for all wheel activities (skate, blade, bike). There are offshoot trails for pedestrians. Bayfront views with shrubbery sections. Dog park. The trail is ever expanding too!

This trail has inspired me to get off my arrsss, get a bike and ride, as of jan 2018 to date i have racked up almost 400 miles on this trail, so get out and enjoy the beauty😁😁

I absolutely adore it. I walk the Waterfront Trail, end-to-end, on a 30-minute (round-trip) daily basis. It takes a little less than a week for me to go each way along the 6.3-mile paved walkway. Today I was walking on the portion that parallels Hilfiker Lane for a stretch, but I had lovely greenbelt on both ends.

A very good hiking trail located on the edge of town gas a great feel, Bike safe, A very good place to take the dog or pet of your choice for a long walk with no worry about car traffic, most people on the trail will say hello as they pass by, and most people on bikes will let you know when they are passing you from…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
