We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Hilborn Open Space Preserve Hiking Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hilborn Open Space Preserve Hiking Trailhead
“Stunning view at night, over seeing the city of Fairfield California.”
Had a pleasant experience on this hike. Would recommend when fields are green.
Challenging set of small hills. Very nice for being in the middle of suburbia. Early spring is the best time of year while everything is still green and it's not hot as balls.
A great quick little hike with a steep incline at first, got a good calf workout getting up it. But if your looking at training for uphill hiking then this is a good beginner level.
