Confirmed from Woodcreek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Woodcreek Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (221 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“It's clean and well-maintained by the city.”

🌳 shaded & cool 8 mentions

“If you have a big party bring a shade tent and possibly your own table and chairs as there were only a couple picnic benches that I saw under the redwoods.”

Nice grassy field for dogs to run or a casual game of baseball. Basketball court is decent but with only a half court. Kids playground is nice with good swings and slides and room for parents to sit.

It's a nice park that's close to where I live. A lot of people in the neighborhood use it for sports, walking their dogs, play basketball, or let their kids play. It's clean and well-maintained by the city. The only thing is to be careful, sometimes people let their dogs off the leash and the dog shouldn't be let off.

This park is great. I grew up playing soccer here and it's still fun to play at. I brought my own children here and they had a blast playing on the play structures and a running under the trees. The redwoods are now huge 20 years later and provide ample shade and keep the park pretty cool.

Love this park in theses hot summer months because there is so much delightful shade. I measured out the track/walking path and it is .68 miles around. You have to go all the way south to the bench. This is a great way to get get your 5 miles a day and before you know it your done !

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
