Confirmed from Hilliard Creek Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hilliard Creek Trailhead
“It's beautiful, tree covered, and it's close to home.”
I found the lack of clear markings and harder to find trails to be fun! If you're just looking for a casual stroll this might not be the trail for you. If you enjoy immersing yourself in your surroundings and a slight challenge, this is a great trail!
Walk my dog there often... Really beautiful, low traffic area in the woods. We'll, except for when there are games. Possibly haunted.
Noting that most reviews are actually on Garner Recreational Park, this trail could use a few more as well 😃
I really want to love this trail. It's beautiful, tree covered, and it's close to home. BUT it's terribly marked, and I found it easy to get off the official trail or suddenly on a different trail than I meant to. There are many well-worn paths that could easily be mistaken for the official route.
Trail conditions & character
“Lots of convenient parking, and a nice bathroom at the trailhead.”
