We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Poole Road Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail-lined park featuring walking paths and views of the Neuse River.

Take a left at the fork, go down until you see a dirt path on the right and enjoy bouldering on the river. Sunset is beautiful here.
It’s a nice little place to walk, jog, bike or fish that’s convenient to my home. There is a ton of wildlife and it is just a real pretty place to go and explore.
We accessed the Neuse Trail from Poole Road Park. There wasn't much to see along the walking trail, but river side provided a much more interesting adventure. The water level I'm told was lower then some weeks back. And the lower water exposed big rocks that one could walk along. It was great for pictures.
I thought the side trails were enchanted looking, but they were bordered on both sides by stagnant swamp land and filled with mosquitoes! Stay on the main path and keep moving!
