Confirmed from Hilltop Needmore Town Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly park offering hilly paths for strolling and biking, as well as scenic views.
What runners say about Hilltop Needmore Town Park
“Beautiful former golf course converted into three scenic walking trails.”
“There was a lot of people using the trails but not crowded.”
“It’s family friendly and a great space to enjoy the outdoors without going too far from home!”
Great place to walk. Safe, quiet and picturesque. We had an absolutely gorgeous day with no humidity, blue skies and sun and the temperature was just right. If it had been hotter or humid we would have felt it because there is very little shade.
We love this park. Red trail is just over 2 miles and has nice hills. Yellow trail is also just over two miles and is flatter. Blue trail is a comfortable .6 miles. Look for the nice family photo bench on the yellow trail (see my photos).
Nice place for jugging and outdoor activities. There are two loops each 2 miles.
Really nice setting! I didn't get to spend long here, but I will certainly be back. The paths are well marked according to which trail you're on.

“There are a few different paths you can take, most of the walk being flat but if you veer off you can catch some hills as well.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
