Confirmed from Hiltscher Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park offering public access to a creek & a naturalistic trail through the city.

My favorite walking trail ever!!! Love listening to the birds and hearing the crunch crunch of my feet walking along the trail. The scenery is beautiful and I like seeing the changes with the different seasons. Believe it or not, there are seasons in Southern California! Subtle, but there are seasons.
Absolutely amazing trails, nice hard pack and views. Lights the train tracks and tunnel through there and loved the hard pack trails for mountain biking, would definitely go back!
Interesting place between residency homes. Nice trail for a short walk.
I’m so glad we have this much nature within the city. I really couldn’t be around large groups of people today so I chose this nature walk for self care. I’m so going to brag about this in therapy tonight lol it’s so beautiful! I love looking at all the different architecture from the backs of peoples houses.

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
