There are several trails you can take at Honey Bee. We took the trail toward the petroglyphs. It is a sandy wash and pretty easy walking. We saw a rattlesnake on the middle of a trail in mid April so watch where you step. The petroglyphs took a little looking but we're cool to see.
Scenic views. The sandy trail is like walking on the beach. The hike is not too difficult. However, it's easy to miss the petroglyphs. Look for a small man-made wall with the center missing on the trail. The petroglyphs are on the left.
What a beautiful place. Love hiking here and the petroglyphs are amazing. On the was trail(take the wash that goes under the road) and follow past the stone wall. You'll see them on your left. One of my favorite places in Tucson. Get there at sunrise for beautiful views of the Catalinas.
Nice easy hike for kids. The petroglyphs were kind of small, but still cool to see. My kids were like “oh that’s it?” Either way, beautiful walk. Took about an hour with the Honey Bee Loop.
