We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Hoschton Recreation Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A variety of fields, from t-ball to softball, plus a playground and concessions.
What runners say about Hoschton Recreation Park
“Clean park bathrooms ( usually) BUT they should enforce the "NO PETS" rule that is ckearly posted!”
Love going to this park because the track is great to walk on! It even has a playground perfect for children! Love it!
It has 4 nice baseball fields and 1 small field for t-ball. It also has batting cages, basketball courts, tennis courts and a playground for 6 - 12 year olds. I'm not sure but it may have a pickleball court. It also has a .33 mile walking loop around the 4 fields. Concession is only open during games.
The baseball fields are immaculate, fresh grilled food is available, restrooms are tolerable. Parking near the selected fields is limited, so plan to perhaps walk 50 yards. Two small playgrounds are provided.
It was a cold day, but a good path for walking- just wish it was longer.
