This is a great little park with beautiful views! It’s great as a place to simply observe nature and enjoy the sights and sounds. While there is no long path to walk on, the beach makes for a cool area for a nice stroll as you watch the birds and ships over the water.
This is one of my favorite parks to go to with or without my dog. There is a nice viewpoint and picnic area at the top. Then there is a trail that leads down to a bridge that goes over the railroad track. Great sunsets and a nice little beach.
Howarth Park is a great local spot with a little bit of everything. There’s beach access, wooded trails, a playground, picnic areas, and an off-leash area for dogs. The beach is beautiful but keep in mind the tide makes a big difference, at high tide there’s very little sand, while at low tide you can walk far out.
I love this beautiful beach. Every time I visit I feel like I'm home. The walk through the forest is so pleasant. The stairs are a bit challenging for me with bad hips but just taking my time made it easier. I wish there was a rail on both sides of the steps but people were kind allowed me the rail side.
